Donate to KAFCAM or partner and volunteer with an organization serving adoptive and foster families, birth families, kinship families, current and former foster youth, or social workers.

Other ways to help:

  • Donate to Knox Co Department of Children’s Services (DCS) – contact

    • New clothes, shoes, undergarments (boys and girls, sizes 3T-adult)

    • Hygiene products (full sized, multiethnic)

    • Duffle bags or backpacks (no suitcases)

    • Furniture- contact

    • Gift cards (gas - may donate to Compassion Coalition and note “DCS” in the memo)

    • Christmas Presents

  • Donate time and resources: Get Creative! Organize a meal train or shower for an adoptive or foster family. Do yardwork, offer to take pictures at an airport homecoming, go grocery shopping for the family, offer transportation to an appointment or therapy session, etc. 

  • Fundraise: Host a garage sale, bake sale, pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner or dinner at Brown bag, etc. for the family.

  • Host an exhibit for Heart Gallery of TN

  • Start a foster care and adoption ministry with TN Kids Belong

KAFCAM has chosen to NOT be an independent 501-c3 nonprofit at this time to save time and money. We do not want to compete for funding with our members and partners. Therefore, Fellowship Church has humbly allowed us to set up a fund code for KAFCAM in their budget. The funds are “restricted” and cannot be used for anything other than KAFCAM expenses.

Donations to KAFCAM will be used to help fund local meetings, trainings, and the annual conference. We have no paid staff.
