Our parent education workshops focus on giving parents the tools that they need to successfully guide and counsel their children as they acclimate to a new culture. This department offers on-site children’s programming during all workforce development programs and community resources workshops to ensure childcare is not an obstacle to education.

Smart Steps Child Care Payment Assistance
Smart Steps is available to income-eligible working parents and parents pursuing postsecondary educational goals that have children ages six (6) weeks to five (5) years of age. Families that participate in Smart Steps are responsible for a portion of their child care costs or co-pay based on a sliding income scale.
