Omni Visions currently has a great need for respite parents. Respite parents are able to provide a temporary home for children in foster care, whether for a night or a weekend. Respite parents may take in a child who already has a foster family to give that family a planned break, when emergencies arise and/or to prevent a child from sleeping at the office while a more permanent family is identified. Respite may be a good fit for you if you have been thinking about foster care but are too busy to commit to it fulltime, or you have a heart to help but are still feeling nervous and not sure if foster parenting is the right path for you.
